Whats up? Sabrina sounded puzzled.

Where are you now?

Im at home. Why? Im making dinner.

Tyrone let out a relieved breath and asked, Youve been home all day?

Yeah, Ive been working on some photos at home.

Try not to go out if its not necessary these days. And if you do need to step out, make sure Brenton or someone else comes with you. And dont open the door to strangers, okay? Tyrone instructed.

Whats going on?

Tyrone quickly filled her in on the events.

Is Jennie okay? Shes Keilanis daughter, isnt she? How could Keilani Sabrina was shocked.

Jennies got a few bruises but shes awake now and doing okay. Just make sure youre taking care of yourself.

Got it.

After ending the call, Tyrone slipped his phone into his pocket and returned to the bedside. He glanced at the IV drip and pressed the call button for a nurse to come and change Jennies IV bag.

Soon after, Keilani entered with two lunch boxes in her hands, smiling at Tyrone and Jennie. I was about to head back but then I remembered you two hadnt eaten dinner yet, so I brought these over.

Tyrone and Jennie exchanged looks. Tyrone said, Just leave them on the table.

After hanging up the phone, Sabrina set it aside and then turned her attention to the food she was cooking. She stirred the dish once and covered the lid.

Tyrones warning rang in her ears again. She quickly made her way to the front door and locked it.

Then, she went to the living room window. Sabrina opened it and looked down at the street below.

It was dark by now. On the road outside the community, cars came and went. The streetlights on both sides were dim.

In the distance, every household in Mathias had its lights on, painting a beautiful night scene.

From where Sabrina stood, she could see a minibus parked not far away from the gate of the community.

Fortunately for whoever owned the minibus, there were no traffic police nearby at this time. Otherwise, the minibus would have been fined for parking in the wrong place.

Just as this thought filtered through Sabrinas mind, the minibus driver turned the car in the direction of the community, following a black car that had just entered the underground garage of the community.
